Point your phone camera at any product barcode, or type the digits in. We look the code up in the open product registries (Open Food Facts, Open Beauty Facts and Open Products Facts) to identify the item and pull its declared ingredient list.

Once the ingredient list is retrieved, our AI reads it compound by compound and flags endocrine disruptors, PFAS, phthalates, parabens, sulfates, harsh preservatives and undisclosed synthetic fragrance. It then gives a plain-language verdict: clean, caution or flagged.

The registries are community-maintained, so smaller or very new products may not be listed yet. When that happens we say so plainly rather than guessing — and you can submit the product so we add it.

The scanner matches the category of what you scanned against the Verafiya catalogue and recommends the closest certified swap, with a short reason why it's a cleaner choice.

No. It is an ingredient-level screening based on publicly declared formulas and published toxicity research. It's a strong signal, not a substitute for advice from a clinician or a regulator's ruling.

Full ingredient disclosure, a clean screen against 1,120 flagged substances, and a supply-chain review covering packaging migration and process contaminants. The badge expires after six months unless the maker submits a fresh panel.
